Mosaic's new mugs rock. Not only do they hold lots of whatever warm beverage suits your fancy, but they have snazzy colors too.
Check it out, the orange actually matches the orange in my spreadsheet!

This is all you get until someone else is awake to take a pic with both my hands in the picture. You can see just a teeny bit of the first glove as it crossed over the lense to push the shutter release.
How do left-handed people take pictures, anyway? do they make left-handed cameras?

Nearly there! I've got to weave in the ends and do a drawstring. But I thought I'd let the little one try it on for size. I think its going to get a little bit bigger when I wash it, but I think I need to build in more stretch for the next one - maybe a ribbing panel along the sides and down the leg? I wonder how the slip stitch pattern would look if I purled some of the stitches?

All this mosaic knitting has me stash diving for my next project. I think these two go together very well and the variegations should make the mosaic even more interesting. Now I just need to finish the one I'm working on.

Progress on the peace soaker. You can't really see the design yet, but you can at least see that I have two different colors going on one row :)

You can't get enough shots of the artiste in residence. Little Bit is decorating her coloring table.

A friend said this flower looks like it came straight from a Dr. Seuss book. It has such a unique shape, and I really like the way the color spectrum moves from red to yellow.

Little Bit enters the world of coloring and crayons. I won't tell you how may outtakes it took to get this one good shot.

Seems the flickr post to blog isn't working too well today. If you feed this, sorry for the multiple posts. I guess we'll do this the old fashioned way then :)
Little Bit has taken to sorting pens, pencils, markers... pretty much anything that is pen-like. This jar sitting in the afternoon sunlight caught my eye. Perhaps she'll be an interior designer?

Still no kate?
I'm a few rounds below where I have to add eyes and the nose/mouth issue. Never having done any embroidery I'm understandably nervous about it. I have a general idea of what I'm going to do, but we'll have to see. Anybody have any suggestions for a newbie? (if anyone is reading this :)
I'd post pics but we're under a serious, rainy cloud cover - until Friday!! Yeah for rain, boo for poor lighting. but my garden is loving it. When we get some good sun, I'll have to take some pics... the colors are amazing :) Maybe I'll apply some color impulsing like Ruth (although I can only hope to get as accomplished as she is someday).
Well, the little one is calling for me. Must run!
